There are many subway stations in the world which is underground, but these metro stations are a little different from them. Because these metro stations are situated at the most deepest place from the surface of the earth. So let's know about these stations

Pyongyang Metro - Pyongyang, North Korea (360 feet)
Pyongyang Metro is located in Pyongyang the capital city of North Korea, this metro station is situated in 360 feet deep underground. This metro system was started almost 43 years ago, on 9 September 1973. It is so deep that the temperature remains constant at 18 degree Celsius at this place. This is one of the most busiest station in North Korea about 300,000 to 700,000 passengers take the Pyongyang metro daily.

Kiev Metro - Arsenalna, Ukraine (346 feet)
Kiev is one of the deepest metro station in the world. It is impressively deepest metro station in Europe. It will take 4 minutes to reach at the bottom. This station is located 346 feet below the earth's surface, which make it one of the world's deepest metro station. To go down, two long escalators have to be resorted, which takes you to the station.

St. Petersburg Metro - Admiralteyskaya, Russia (282 feet)
St. Petersburg metro station is the most deepest metro station in Russia. It will take 3min to reach at the platform using escalator from the top. This metro station in Russia is one of the world's deepest metro systems with average depth of 282 feet below ground, it is also the world's 9th busiest metro system, which serves more than 2 million passengers per day.

Portland Light Rail - Washington Park Station, United States (259 feet)
Portland Light Rail - Washington Park station is located in Portland, Oregon. This is mazing station to visit even if you're not riding the train. Here you can get lots of information about the Earth and art! Some seating benches, decent restrooms and clean elevators are available. The Washington Park station is the only station in the north America which is located at 259 feet deep below the earth surface.

Hampstead, London, England (190 feet)
Hampstead is Underground station in North London. The station is located on the Edgware branch of the Northern line. Hampstead underground Station is the most deepest metro station in London and it was officially opened on 22 June 1907. It is situated at 190 feet below the ground in northern London.
