Jammu and Kashmir is a state in northern part of India. It is located in Himalayan mountains, and shares a border with neighboring states Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The state consists of three regions which includes Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir Valley. Jammu is located on the Shivalik hillock with Tawi river flowing by at the foot of the hill. The range of  mountains and valleys are a rare beauty of Kashmir. Buddhist Culture is widespread in Ladakh and it also known as “Small Tibet”. Jammu and Kashmir is also known as a Dream paradise on the earth, and heaven on the earth.

         The Srinagar city was founded by samrat 'Ashoka'. The present Srinagar city was built by Pravarsena. Jammu City was founded by the king Jambu Lochan, something 3000 years back. Srinagar is the largest city of the state and it is also the Summer Capital of the state and Jammu is the Winter Capital of it. The Official languages of the state "Jammu & Kashmir" are Kashmiri and Hindi. But there are also several other languages which people like to speak are Urdu, English, Ladakhi and Dogri. The state Jammu & Kashmir is well connected with roadways, railways and airways.

Srinagar - Srinagar is one of the most beautiful place to visit in Kashmir or in India. Here you can enjoy various things like trekking, boating, bird watching, water skiing and many more. The best time to visit this beautiful place is from June to October or if you like snow then you can visit from December to January. You can also stay in boat house! If you like.,

Gulmarg - Gulmarg is popularly known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’, because, it offers a treat to your eyes with its vibrant flowers against the snow capped mountains as a backgrounds. The best time to visit this place is same as above. In gulmarg you can enjoy Mountain Biking, trekking, Skiing if you visit in winters and Gondola rides for a panoramic view of the valley.
Sonmarg - Sonmarg which also known as a ‘Meadow of Gold’. Here you can see the endless stream of stunning beautiful flowers and adventurous trekking routes. Sonmarg is one of the beautiful attraction for every visitors who visit Kashmir with its mesmerizing and breathtaking views. In Sonmarg you can enjoy Trekking, Camping and nature walks.

Leh - Leh is another one of the best places to visit in Kashmir. Best time to visit is in summers days. With the range of highest mountains and beautiful lakes view this place is a great choice for amazing trekking experience. This place is also a dreamland of every biker because of its beautiful nature and mountains. It offers a breathtaking mountain views, leaving no any visitor disappointed. All this things enables, Leh is one of the best places to visit. Best time for visit Leh is from April to June and from September to October. Some of the tracks are closed after November due to heavy snowfalls.

Kupwara - Kupwara is a small town located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located at a distance of some about 90 kilometers from the  Srinagar. Kupwara does not have any own airport, the nearest airport is located in Srinagar. The dense forests with thriving meadows, alpine mountains, rich wild life and gushing clear water make kupwara is a significant place tourism and wildlife. It is a must visit destination in Kashmir.
